Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Blur My Street View ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Blur My Street View.

2. Description of Service

Blur My Street View is a service that assists homeowners in submitting requests to blur their properties on Google Maps Street View and Apple Maps Look Around. We act as an intermediary between you and the map providers, handling the submission process on your behalf.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be the legal owner of the property for which you are requesting a blur
  • Have the legal authority to authorize us to act on your behalf
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Reside in the United States (currently, our service is only available for US properties)

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting a blur request
  • Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate
  • Attest that you are the homeowner of the property in question
  • Sign the authorization document sent via DocuSign
  • Make payment as required for the services
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not submit requests for properties you do not own or have authorization to represent

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

Our service operates on a single price per address that covers both Google Maps and Apple Maps submissions. Full payment is required upfront before we submit your blur request to the map providers.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

5.3 Refunds

Refund policies are as follows:

  • If you cancel before we submit your request to map providers, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund
  • If the map provider rejects your blur request, we will refund your payment
  • If you cancel after we have submitted your request, refunds are at our discretion and may be subject to processing fees
  • Once a blur is confirmed by the map provider, no refunds will be issued

6. Service Process

The service process includes the following steps:

  1. You submit a blur request through our website
  2. You receive and sign an authorization document via DocuSign
  3. You complete full payment upfront
  4. We automatically submit your blur request to both Google Maps and Apple Maps (one price covers both providers)
  5. We notify you when the blur is confirmed

Processing times vary depending on the map provider and may take several weeks or months.

7. No Guarantee of Results

While we will make our best efforts to submit your blur request to the map providers, we cannot guarantee that:

  • Your blur request will be approved by the map provider
  • The blur will be processed within any specific timeframe
  • The blur will remain in place permanently (map providers may update their imagery)

Map providers have sole discretion over whether to approve or deny blur requests. We are not responsible for decisions made by Google Maps or Apple Maps.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUR MY STREET VIEW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blur My Street View, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, Apple Maps, Stripe, and DocuSign. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Blur My Street View and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, US, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Miami Dade County, FL.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blur My Street View regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
